For my master's degree project, I collaborated with the Danish tax advisory company "Skatteguiden" to design an application aimed at helping young people enhance their financial literacy and decision-making skills.
Throughout the project, we engaged in process planning, ideation, research, design, and evaluation. We also wrote a thesis that explored key theoretical perspectives relevant to designing for this target group and environment.
My study group and I were proud to receive the highest grade, 12, for our work on this project.
I took a course called "Advanced Design Processes", in which I worked on a project focused on rethinking the dynamics of the apartment rental market.
Our research identified significant power imbalances in existing platforms, especially favoring landlords. In response, we designed "Rental," a website aimed at fostering trust and transparency by balancing the needs of both renters and landlords.
In one of my specialization courses on UX Design, I worked on expanding the concept of the wine app Vivino. My study group and I researched the field and designed a wine app called VinoVoyage. We explored how to incorporate AI machine vision for recognizing wine labels and suggesting average prices in real time, a feature not present in Vivino.
Additionally, we focused on enhancing the user experience by offering localized wine deals based on the user's location and encouraging them to engage with the story behind each wine. Through this project, we aimed to create a more personalized and immersive wine exploration journey for users.
